DCAD Election Committee Announcement

Greetings, D/M/V community members,

The DC Association of the Deaf (DCAD) Election Committee is thrilled to announce an upcoming election for board positions on April 25, 2024, at Red Bear Brewing at 7 p.m. If you are interested in running, please ensure you are a current DCAD Individual member or will be a member at the time of the election, and email election@dcadeaf.org. We are seeking candidates for President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and three (3) Members at Large.

The DCAD election committee will ensure that this April 25, 2024, election operates per the DCAD bylaws. All candidates interested in running for positions must be current Regular Individual Members at the time of the election. If you need to update your membership, dues can be collected before the election starts on April 25, 2024, via the Zeffy link above.

The DCAD Election Committee eagerly anticipates the upcoming election and welcomes any questions, nominations, or concerns you may have. If you are interested in running or have questions, please email us at election@dcadeaf.org to submit your candidacy or to help answer your questions!
